Additional USASA Insurance Options
The USASA insurance Committee is pleased to announce two new coverage options for USASA members - increased Accident Sub-limits and Fidelity Bond coverage. Information for the sub-limit increase and and forms for the Fidelity Bond can be found in the following documents.

These additional options are in response to requests from the membership that higher levels of accident coverage, specifically the scheduled sub-limits, be available. These increases are available immediately at both the the State Association and individual league level. This new option increases the sub-limits as follows:
- Hospital Miscellaneous (in-patient) increase from $1000 to $2000 per admission
- Hospital Miscellaneous (out-patient) increase from $250 to $500 per admission
- Hospital Emergency Care increase from $350 to $500 max. per injury
- X-Ray/MRI etc. increase from$150 to $500 max. per injury
- Physician Expense increase from $35 to $50 – maximum 10 visits per injury
The additional premium related to the above sub-limit increases would be: $0.51 to the $5000 accident plan premium (i.e. from $6.75 to $6.25); $0.77 to the $10,000 accident plan premium (from $10.22 to $10.99); and $0.80 to the $25,000 accident plan premium (from $10.53 to $11.33).
Also now available is Fidelity Bond coverage which would cover State associations for such matters such as employee theft which is not otherwise covered under their D&O insurance. The cost for this coverage is:
- $150/year for three years for $10,000 coverage.
- $500/year for three years for $50,000 coverage
