Finding the right team in TORSO can take some time. Many teams have full rosters and may not be adding players when you first sign up. However, there are several ways to get involved:

Free Agent Pool

TORSO forms new teams each season using players from our free agent pool. These teams are typically assembled:

• July/August for the Fall season

• November/December for the Spring season

• April/May for Summer Season

If you’re interested in joining a newly formed team, we recommend re-submitting your information during those months to stay visible.

Free Agent Field Days

We occasionally host Free Agent Days, where unaffiliated players participate in scrimmages while team managers scout for roster additions. These events are a great opportunity to get noticed and meet potential teammates.

High-Demand Roles

• Female players are in high demand due to co-ed roster requirements and are usually contacted more quickly.

• Goalkeepers are also highly sought after. If you’re willing to play in goal, be sure to mention it.

• Male players: If you know a female player who wants to join, encourage her to sign up as well. Teams are often more open to adding male players when a female player joins with them.

• Like and follow our Facebook page. Teams sometimes post when they’re looking for players, and league events like Free Agent Days are announced there.

• Post on our Facebook page to let others know you’re looking to join a team. Include your location preference, experience level, and preferred position.

• Contact team managers directly. Manager contact information is listed on each team’s page in our directory.
